As a sports and manual therapist,
I pursue a holistic approach that goes far beyond the mere treatment of injuries.
 

My goal is to consider each athlete/patient as a whole and develop individual strategies that promote both physical and mental health.

Throughout my professional career, I have completed a BSc and two Master degrees in physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy and manual therapy. I am very eager to keep learning therefore I am updating my knowledge on a regular base in order to provide the best possible care for my patients.

ABOUT ME

My physiotherapy career began in the Netherlands. In addition to my work in a private practice, I have always been supporting professional athletes and sports clubs.


I am passionate about assisting and promoting individuals who strive for peak performance - whether in sports, in their work life or in their everyday life.


In addition to my Bachelor’s degree, I completed a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy in 2010 and 2013. For over 10 years, I have been supporting the Swiss Men’s National Ski Team.

    What role has physiotherapy played in your career?
    Due to several severe injuries during my career, physiotherapy has played a central role in my daily life as an athlete. Effective and comprehensive treatments significantly contributed to getting back on my skis and compete at the Word Cup races as quickly as possible.

    How was your collaboration with René?
    René was always very professional. The treatment process always contained the necessary innovative input to solve complex injuries. The consistency of his approach made sure constant improvement was made. René… best man!

    What role has physiotherapy played in your career?
    Physiotherapy was an indispensable factor for my success. Since I had to deal with many injuries very early on in my career, regular physio sessions were part of my daily life as an athlete in order to reach my physical peak.

    How was your collaboration with René?
    René helped me a lot with his competence and skills. His techniques were often new to me, but always successful. I always trusted him and knew that together, we would make my body race-ready. On a personal level, working with René was always great, as he was able to maintain a good balance between fun and work, making sure, the therapy sessions were never boring.
